Our Journey Towards A Sustainable Future
At Clixxo Broadband, sustainability is at the core of our mission because we recognize the impact that telecommunications and technology have on the environment. By embracing sustainable practices, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint, conserve natural resources, and foster a healthier planet for future generations. One of our primary initiatives is e-waste management.
E-Waste Collection Program
At Clixxo Broadband, we are committed to responsible electronic waste management. In partnership with M/s. Global Waste Solution, an authorised dismantler and recycler certified by the Haryana Pollution Control Board, we ensure that our E-Waste is handled sustainably. Our recycler partner oversees all Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) activities, including the collection, transportation, storage, segregation, dismantling, and recycling of electronic waste.
We utilise our recycler partner’s collection points to channel e-waste responsibly. While we do not have collection points in every state, e-waste from neighbouring states will be collected through nearby authorised centres. For any queries regarding e-waste disposal, please contact our toll-free number: 1800-2707-666. You can also download the state-wise list of collection points from the link on the right.
Do’s for E-Waste Disposal
- Always refer to the product catalogue for end-of-life equipment handling information.
- Ensure that only authorised recyclers handle and repair your electronic devices.
- Contact our authorised e-waste collection centres to dispose of products that have reached their end-of-life.
- Drop off used electronic products, batteries, or accessories at the nearest authorised e-waste collection point.
- Disconnect batteries and protect glass surfaces before disposal to prevent breakage.
Don’ts for E-Waste Disposal
- Do not attempt to dismantle electronic products on your own.
- Never dispose of electronics in bins labelled with a “Do Not Dispose” sign.
- Avoid giving e-waste to informal or unorganised sectors, such as local scrap dealers or rag pickers.
- Do not discard electronic products with regular municipal waste or in garbage bins, as they may end up in landfills, causing harm to the environment.
